I found when publishing large amounts of packages, we encountered problems like “Not enough storage is available to complete this operation”. Usually, increasing the cache size fixes this issue.
This compliance configuration item is used to remediate the cache size to 10240 (10gb). By default, disk space for the Configuration Manager client cache is 5120 MB.
The configuration item uses a powershell script (modified Aaron Czechowski script) to check the current cache size on the SCCM Client. If the size does not match your default, it will be classed as non-compliant. A remediation script will then run and change it back to default.
